Mike Coney, Unitrends CEO, has extensive executive software expertise and experience. Additionally, he has a thorough academic resume. Mr. Coney graduated from the Wharton School of Business Executive Leadership Program (University of Pennsylvania). Additionally, from the New York Institute of Technology, he attained his Bachelor’s degree.

Before coming to Unitrends, he was President and GM of Acronis Software. While at Acronis Software, he led strategy for North America and South America. Previous to joining Acronis, he held the job of Senior V.P. of the Americas for Veritas. This was up to Veritas’ merger with Symantec.

In addition, Mr. Coney was EVP (Executive Vice President) of worldwide operations for Ingres Software Corporation. Moreover, he’s held senior management roles at high-growth businesses. These included Monster.com and Sun Microsystems. On the whole, Unitrends has a strong management team having an abundance of expertise and practical experience.
