Mike Coney, Unitrends CEO, has extensive executive software experience and expertise. Moreover, he has a thorough academic curriculum vitae. Mr. Coney graduated from the Executive Leadership Program at the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania). Furthermore, he earned his Bachelor’s degree from the New York Institute of Technology.

Before coming to Unitrends, Mike Coney was President and GM of Acronis Software. While at Acronis Software, he directed strategy for North America and South America. Previous to joining Acronis, he held the position of Senior Vice President of the Americas for Veritas. This was up to Veritas’ merger with Symantec.

Furthermore, Mr. Coney was Executive Vice President of global operations for Ingres Software Corporation. In addition, he’s held senior management roles at high growth enterprises. These included Monster.com and Sun Microsystems. In general, Unitrends has a strong management team having an abundance of expertise and practical experience.
